Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the technical operations and maintenance of LNG and FSRU vessels under management.
- Ensure vessels comply with international safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.).
- Manage repairs, dry-docking, and maintenance schedules to minimize operational downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ship crews, both at sea and ashore, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Conduct vessel inspections and audits, coordinating closely with classification societies, flag states, and port authorities.
- Monitor vessel performance and work proactively to solve technical issues, optimizing vessel performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and external contractors to manage costs and ensure timely delivery of technical solutions.
- Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer with solid seafaring experience on LNG vessels (shore experience highly desirable but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of LNG vessel operations; FSRU experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of international maritime regulations and industry standards.
- Proven ability to manage maintenance schedules, audits, and inspections effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to work in multicultural environments.
- Openness to relocate to Jakarta, with a willingness to adapt to local culture and work environment.
