In this role, you will develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities within the ship management sector, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with ship owners, brokers, charterers, and other industry stakeholders. You will conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed of industry trends, and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Additionally, you will prepare and present business development strategies to senior management, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall objectives.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the ship management, ship brokering, chartering, or related maritime industries.
  • Strong network of contacts within the maritime industry, particularly with ship owners in China.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in Mandarin highly desired.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business development plans.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Priority considerations for applicants presently based in Hong Kong.
