We are supporting an independent offshore engineering consultancy with their search for a Naval Architect. They seek someone with extensive experience in the offshore industry, particularly in the design and analysis of offshore structures and vessels. The successful candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture and be a confident user of OrcaFlex software.

Responsibilities:

Design and analyze offshore structures and vessels
Develop hydrodynamic and structural models using OrcaFlex software
Conduct dynamic and static analyses of offshore structures and vessels
Perform load and stress calculations, stability analysis, and fatigue assessment
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Participate in project reviews and progress meetings

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture or a related field
Minimum of 4 years' experience in the offshore industry
Strong background in hydrodynamics, structural analysis, and stability
Proficiency in OrcaFlex software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Willingness to travel as required
