Operating a diverse fleet of vessels, including Multipurpose Vessels (MPVs), Landing Craft Tank Ships (LCTs), and tug and barge combinations, this company is renowned for its commitment to excellence, sustainability, and community development.
As the Nautical Superintendent, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the fleet, ensuring that all vessels are well-maintained and comply with regulations. This includes coordinating repairs, monitoring performance, conducting inspections, and ensuring safety standards are met. You will also provide guidance and support to the crew, work with external partners for maintenance, and handle emergency situations effectively. Your role will involve regular reporting on the fleet's technical operations and finding ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Requirements:
- Ex Master Mariner of Chief Mate with at least 3 years of shore experience in the capacity of Marine, Operations or Nautical Superintendent.
- Proven experience with MPVs, LCTs, and tug and barge.
- Certified as an Internal Auditor for ISM, ISPS, and MLC.
