We’re looking for a skilled Marine Procurement Officer to join a global Shipping organisation in London. You’ll manage the entire procurement cycle, from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of goods and services. Your role is vital to the smooth operation of maritime activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier selection, contract negotiation, and order fulfilment.
- Source suppliers to meet our quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Negotiate contracts to secure the best value.
- Collaborate with colleagues to understand procurement needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Proven marine procurement experience.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational abilities.
- Familiarity with procurement software.
- A degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
