We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated General Counsel to provide independent and impartial legal advice to the management, CEO, and Board of Directors. You will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and contributing to strategic decisions, in shipping and maritime law.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in law or equivalent from a reputable institution, with admission to a recognised civil or common law bar.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in shipping and maritime law, with a strong track record advising senior management and directors.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
- Commercial acumen and relationship-building expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely, pragmatic legal services to the company and its subsidiaries.
- Develop and monitor policies to ensure legal compliance.
- Participate in decision-making on major ventures and investments.
- Report on significant legal matters to the Group Chief Legal Officer as required.
