Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Maritime Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a Vessel Owner/Operator/Manager environment. This role is crucial for handling various financial responsibilities, including:
- Invoicing
- Accounts management
- GST processing
- Employee expense claims
- General office administration
- Manage and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Oversee accounts management tasks to ensure financial accuracy
- Handle GST-related matters and ensure compliance with regulations
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including employee expense claims and office management
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Background in maritime accounting is preferred
- Strong understanding of GST and other relevant regulations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle general administrative duties efficiently
