Faststream Recruitment are working with a leading UK Port operator and are currently looking for an experienced Hydrographic Surveyor to be based out of their Liverpool office on a permanent basis with some travel to other ports in the North West and Scotland on occasion.
We are ideally looking a qualified Hydrographic Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years UK inshore water based experience. You will be involved in navigation and dredging related hydrographic surveys. This will also include survey design, on site data collection, processing, analysis and presentation of data.
We are looking for an individual who is able to skipper small boats as part of the role. Whilst previous experience of this would be beneficial, full training on boat handling and towing of trailers can be provided as part of your development.
Candidates should have full UK residency and be able to work from their Liverpool office on a daily basis. This is a Monday to Friday role based on 37.5 hours per week (Subject to tide times) and is perfect for someone looking to be working close to home and has had enough of long trips away.
