We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Client, a renowned Ship management entity as a Safety and Compliance Coordinator. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the HSEQ Manager in the implementation of their Safety Management System, ensuring the fleet and office operations adhere to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety System Support: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of our Safety Management System, including the preparation and distribution of manuals and fleet notices.
  • Audit Coordination: Organize and oversee internal and external audits and inspections for our fleet vessels and office, covering ISM, ISPS, MLC, and ISO standards.
  • Vetting & Inspections: Work closely with both vessel and shore teams to coordinate Charterer’s Vetting Inspections, including TMSA Audits and SIRE Inspections.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) objectives and KPIs across our fleet.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Act as the secretariat for quarterly and annual review meetings, preparing agendas, materials, and official minutes.
  • Documentation & Support: Provide comprehensive support for various HSEQ office tasks and projects, as directed by the division in charge.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience within a HSE function preferable coming from a Ship management background dealing with Tanker/Gas vessels.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and BI tools; knowledge of MS Access is a plus.
  • Excellent documentation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • A positive, service-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
