My Client are seeking a Crewing Superintendent to join their Yacht department in Cyprus. 

They are a leading player in the Yacht Management industry, committed to excellence and the highest standards of service. You will be a vital part of ensuring the safety, compliance, and success of the operations.

This is an office-based role, and you must have the right to live and work in Europe, to progress through the selection process. No sponsorship is offered as part of the package. All applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Cyprus. 

Responsibilities:
  • Review and manage the safe manning of all yachts, adhering to safety regulations and budgetary considerations.
  • Ensure all crew members are trained and qualified according to company, STCW, and Flag State requirements.
  • Coordinate crew changes in compliance with Seafarers' Employment Agreements and owner preferences.
  • Handle travel arrangements, including visa requirements, for crew members.
  • Issue Seafarer Employment Agreements in compliance with MLC, Flag State, and National regulations.
  • Plan crew rotation in collaboration with vessel managers and owners.
  • Promote and monitor crew career progression.
  • Actively recruit for open positions as needed.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the Company's Management System and implement it effectively.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of procedures.
  • Monitor and address training needs.
  • Review vessel disbursement accounts.
  • Maintain comprehensive Seafarer records.
  • Handle sickness and accidents by liaising with relevant parties.
  • Investigate and follow up on non-conformities, observations, and customer complaints.
Requirements: 
  • Seagoing experience as a Purser, Interior Manager or Officer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the yachting industry OR shore-side experience in a Superyacht Crewing role.
  • Proficiency in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and controlling skills.
  • Fluent in German.
