This is a key role within the EMEA region, supporting operational excellence and delivering training across diverse locations.
The position is rotational with extensive travel required. Our client is flexible on the home location of the successful candidate, but requires it to have good travel links for efficient access to EMEA locations.
Reporting to the Regional Marine Manager, the Operations and Training Superintendent is responsible for overseeing training and operational standards across the EMEA region. This includes conducting onboard assessments, supporting port operations, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Hold Master’s Unlimited Certificate of Competency
- Sea-going experience up to Chief Officer (ideally as Master on tugs; other vessel experience will be considered, though tug expertise is essential)
- Culturally adaptable with flexibility for extensive travel
- Must be able to travel on short notice across EMEA
