We are looking for a highly skilled Director to lead a marine-focused legal team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with extensive expertise in P&I and FD&D sectors. You will be responsible for overseeing a variety of marine legal matters while driving business development and expanding the client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a legal team, ensuring excellence in client service and case outcomes.
- Provide strategic legal advice on complex marine matters, focusing on P&I and FD&D.
- Drive business development and marketing efforts, establishing new client relationships and revenue streams.
- Oversee case management, including research, drafting, and enforcement procedures.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure operational excellence.
- Engage with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to promote the firm and its services.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with significant marine law experience.
- Strong expertise in P&I and FD&D sectors.
- Proven leadership abilities and team management skills.
- Strong business development and marketing acumen.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
