Job Description

We are hiring for Crewing Executive for our Ship Owner/Ship Management client in Singapore. 
  
Are you passionate about maritime operations and team management? Our client is seeking a skilled Cadet and Crew Executive to join their dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of cadet and crew management, contributing to the success of their maritime operations.
  
Roles and Responsibilities: 

Cadet Management
  • Oversee all matters related to cadets.
  • Forecast annual cadet budget and status (currently 6 nationalities).
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment of cadets.
  • Plan assignments and pre-embarkation briefings.
  • Verify invoices and coordinate payroll.
  • Manage cadet documentation and CMS uploads.
  • Claim SMarT funding and monitor progress.
  • Maintain contact and respond to cadet queries.
  • Prepare and update cadet agreements and contracts.
  • Arrange technical interviews and propose promotions for graduated cadets.
Crew Management
  • Maintain relations with external crew managers (6 managers).
  • Conduct weekly meetings on crew status and updates.
  • Plan officers' rotations in monthly meetings.
  • Monitor crew manager KPIs.
  • Handle MPA CoE and travel invoices.
  • Manage travel agents, including training and implementation.
  • Oversee CMS issues, administration, and wage scales.
  • Create and update vessel profiles and Safe Manning.
  • Work with BTT to create Power BI reports.
Ad hoc tasks:
  • Provide safety briefings to Nautical Colleges.
  • Coordinate cadet video interviews and contribute to social media articles.
  • Assist Managing Director, Head of Marine, Superintendents, and Senior Vessel Planner.
Requirements:
  
Education, Knowledge & Experience
  • Minimum Diploma in Maritime Studies or HR.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • 4-5 years of cadet and crew management experience.
  • Familiarity with crew accounting, budgeting, and recruitment.
  • Experience in multi-cultural environments, sailing as a cadet preferred.
