Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Chartering Manager to join our client's team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong network, proven negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the Supramax/Ultramax market. You will be responsible for securing profitable fixtures, managing relationships with stakeholders, and optimizing vessel utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure and negotiate spot and time charters.
- Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, brokers, and cargo owners.
- Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities.
- Optimize voyages and profitability through strategic chartering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the dry bulk sector, particularly Supramax/Ultramax.
- Strong negotiation skills and market knowledge.
- Proven network within the dry bulk shipping industry.
