Position Overview:
We are seeking an Experienced Back-to-Back Bunker Trader for our client's Monaco office. You will manage marine fuel procurement and sales, ensuring seamless transactions between suppliers and clients. Your expertise in bunker trading will be key to our commercial success and maintaining our industry-leading reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute back-to-back bunker trades, sourcing fuel from own supply & other suppliers and selling to clients.
- Monitor market trends to inform trading decisions.
- Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
- Negotiate favorable terms and secure reliable fuel supplies.
- Identify and mitigate trading risks.
- Oversee contract negotiations and logistics coordination.
- Report on trading activities and market developments.
- Minimum 2 years of bunker trading experience, with a focus on back-to-back transactions.
- Strong knowledge of the global marine fuel market.
- Proven trading success and a robust industry network.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Must be based in Monaco, surrounding area (France/Italy) or willing to relocate.
