Consultant Marine Engineer and Surveyor

-The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high level forensic technical investigations principally focused on litigious marine disputes.
-The role will be focused on the London market and based in central London, with a view to providing evidence as an expert witness, after having gained suitable experience.
-The role will be physically demanding and requires worldwide travel, in addition it will include both site attendance and the compilation of detailed technical written reports.
-Class I Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency
-Preferred cargo or tanker ship types and deep-sea experience
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
-Drive and motivation towards career progression; aptitude for forensic investigation and problem solving

-Surveying, superintendence, consultancy, lecturing and relevant industrial/claims/commercial experience
