I am currently working with an expanding Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Guest Service Manager on board.
As Guest Service Manager, you will report into the Financial Officer and Hotel Manager and be responsible for supervising all Guest Services on board the ship. You will support the Pursers and Shorex department with everything guest related.
You will also be responsible for the supervising and training of all embarkation staff and liaise with the Shorex Manager to ensure a smooth transition between the Airport and Terminal for guests arriving to the ship.
You will be responsible for a variety of guest related duties, and assist in all Guest Service areas as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Existing experience sailing as Guest Service Manager on small, luxury vessels
-Excellent interpersonal skills
- Accounting and administration skills for the role
- Computer knowledge (Word, Excel) MXP an advantage
- Experience of supervising a small team of staff
-Global sailing experience
-Fluent English language skills - additional European language is a bonus
