This service engineer position is mainly technical that involves service, start-up and commissioning to all company products and provide sales support to their customers within the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Duties include


    * Under minimum supervision, you will be responsible for service, start-up and installation of all company products within US and occasional overseas travel required. Travel is 4 out of 5 days.
    * Plan and organize sales and customer visits and acquire new sales leads within the US
    * Collect all relevant commercial factors regarding a service case and produce the customers' draft invoice.

- Provide customers with technical support.

- Design and supervise the installation of systems.

- Provide product and service training to customers and service agents.

Job Requirements

Minimum


    * Proven service experience electrical instrumentation/automation and low voltage systems.
    * Previous experience with emission, shipboard low voltage or navigation systems an advantage.
    * Previous experience with shipboard navigation systems an advantage.
    * Previous experience with shipboard low voltage systems an advantage.
    * Proven experience within a fast paced work environment.
    * Ability to communicate precisely and effectively with customers and co workers.
    * Strong organizational skills.
    * Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
    * Flexibility to work outside normal office hours with urgent cases if needed.
    * Strong computer literacy, experience with MS Office and Outlook.
    * Good knowledge in the English language, both oral and written.
    * Must have a clean personal record. (Background check will be performed)
    * Must be legal to work in a US based company.
    * Ability to travel overseas.

Preferred

All the above and 10 years experience within the marine/shipping industry.

Compensation / Benefits

Salary is depends on experience, however regarded higher than industry standard; paid hourly with overtime; health insurance; IRA retirement plan; 15 days paid vacation; 13 federal holidays.
