Faststream's Client are working closely with a renowned shipping business who are looking to hire an experienced IT Support Specialist in their dynamic UK head office. Reporting directly to the IT Director you will provide 1st & 2nd Line Support to the business and its vessels/ships.
As the IT Support Specialist you will focus on 1st and 2nd line support incidents that arise within business involving desktops, laptops, iPhone mobile devices, Alcatel telephone systems and various application software as well as network connectivity and related 2012 server/cloud service issues.
*Deliver proactive and structured support to the business
*Liaise with team members and managers to ensure that IT expectations are met
*Be involved with internal discussions and be willing to contribute to the continuous process of service improvement (ITIL).
*Take responsibility for ongoing personal and professional development.
Skills & Qualifications:
Preferred Formal qualifications:
*MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate)
*MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate)
*ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
Previous experience in supporting the following is desirable:
*Office365 / Exchange
*Windows Server 2012
*Routers and firewalls
